Kat, Mom and I were lucky enough to have get to go into the city to see Wicked at the Orpheum Theater. It was a fabulous show! Thank you Tyler, Dad, and Kat!

Our first baby-proofing project

Thank goodness Grammy and Roger were here to help with this project. Tyler and I took a CPR class one night, came home, and they had finished the entire foam assembly while we were out. We finished the covering the next morning. Now, Border will be able to toddle by the fireplace without hurting himself.

Two garden beds...up and growing!

Tyler put up the second raised bed garden last weekend and so I got to transplanting from the first garden where I had overplanted. Unfortunately, the squash and melons did not like being transplanted and began to wilt within minutes. That was Monday....these are pics from today. As you can see the plants are perking up a bit. Hopefully we didn't lose any.

Our chicks finally arrived! They are so cute! We got a Black Star (the black one), a Rhode Island Red (the red one), a Buff Laced Polish (kind of taller whitish yellow), Speckles Sussex (brownish with detail on its back), Araucana/Americana (chipmunk looking), and a Buff Orpington (yellow stereotypical looking chick).

The plants are much bigger now....these pics were taken 5/9. I'll try to take some more tomorrow, but for now.... Corn, 3 or 4 kinds of squash, cucumber, orange flesh melon, beans, peas, watermelon, tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant......the chickens come tomorrow!

This video goes along with Border's Faker pics.....Mama was doing some coaxing with some help from Grammy via Skype :) It seems like I'm being mean with "Rawr!", but it is so funny because sometimes he thinks its hilarious, and other times he cries.

Faker!

Border has become quite the faker of tears! Man, can he stick out his lip! For those of you worried that I'm abusing our son....he started laughing shortly after these photos.

Pull Ups

Border does pull ups while Mama walks. Its kind of funny, even his little knuckles turn white.

Is there a dress code at this pool?

It was a hot day today and we were working on getting our second raised bed installed. So, Border watched us from his new kiddie pool!

It's all fun and games 'till somebody poops in the pool. Hmmmm....who could it have been?

The Bucket

Border discovered this bucket the other day. He was having a good time drumming and picking it up pretending to drink something out of it like a big cup. I turned around for a second and when I turned back, this is what I saw....

I thought this was pretty funny. Eventually, I sat him back up and let him play some more. This was his next trick.... Believe it or not he thought it was hilarious! He was under the bucket cracking up and waving his arms and feet wildly. What a goof!
